We can’t begin to put into words the generosity and kindness of 60 classmates to date. I’m astounded every time I open the mail!

The funds are earmarked to help bring in classmates who couldn’t otherwise come, bring some teachers and whatever is left will be donated to three end recipients. 1) OPRFHS Alumni Association who helps run all reunions and is funded solely by donations. 2) Empowering Gardens which was created by our classmates Dick Biggins and his wife Maggie Miles. The purpose of creating this non profit is to hire and train the disabled so to learn the skills to work there or  elsewhere. When they raise $ 200,000 they will have enough to purchase the property and then get grants to build a green house and stay open year round.3) Due to one particular donation related to Veterans…some to the DAV and some to the DAR who did all the work to provide the certificates and pins for the Vietnam Veterans.
